Again another good crowd following Slades massive success at the Reading festival (August 1980), their current single EP was actually from that concert "Slade Alive At Reading '80, which got to number 44 in the U.K. chart.
Slade got the crowd going right from the start off, with belters
"Dizzy Mama", "Night Starvation", "Take Me Bak 'ome" and "Wheels Ain't Coming Down" to the crowds delight, then simmering down a little with "Everyday", then back to full poke with
"Something Else Medley" and their smash hits "Gudbuy T'Jane", "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" and "Cum On Feel The Noize" and ending off with one of their regular finishers "Born To Be Wild".
Noddy gets the crowd going crazy with his banter, although their music has just as much effect, getting the crowd singing and a dancing their heads off.
Everyone left happy
the crowd had received great entertainment and the band had achieved another well earned wage packet.
My sound rating for this is 7/10
