Another good attendance at the Theatre, Slade fans waiting for another night of entertainment
and they weren't let down.
Slades recent album release was "Till Deaf Do Us Part" (reaching number 68 in the U.K. Chart)
and their latest single release was "Lock Up Your Daughters" (peaking at number 29 in the U.K. chart) is sadly missing from this recording as the cassette tape ran out and had to be replaced with another. Never the less this did not disappoint the fans.
Straight from the off Slade tore into their loud rocky songs such as "Rock 'n' Roll Preacher (Hallelujah I'm On Fire)"
"When I'm Dancin' I Ain't Fightin'", Take Me Bak 'ome", "Till Deaf Do Us Part"
Dave Hill has a go at his solo rendition of "M' Hat M' Coat" (and the fans enjoy it all)
then straight back to the noise with hits like "A Night To Remeber"
(sadly the cassette tape came to an end during Jim Lea's piece, and had to be replaced)
next came "Gudbuy T'Jane", "We'll Bring The House Down" (which Slade always try their utmost to do)
"Get Down And Get With It" and "Mama Weer All Crazee Now"
and as it was December, no Slade concert would of been right with out "Merry Xmas Everybody"
The concert was an early gift from Slade to their loyal fans, who left The Royal Court very gleeful.
Who was to know that in 2 years time they would be playing the same venue for their final U.K. gig.
My sound rating for this is 8/10
