Slade played The Music Machine 4 times in 1980 :-
29th February and 1st March 1980, 20th and 21st June 1980, the 4 of concerts are here on my site, each are slightly different.

June 21st 1980, tonight everybody was in for just over 2 hours of a fantastic Slade concert
(out of the 4 gigs here this is my favourite) a good crowd (not as full as Slade used to get)
are ready to be entertained and entertainment is what they received.
Slade opened with "Gonna Rock Ya / Dizzy Mama", "My Baby Left Me", "Take Me Bak 'ome"
"When I'm Dancin' I Ain't Fightin'" which got their fans singing and a dancing.
Things calmed down for a few minutes as they played "Lemme Love Into Ya" and "Everyday"
then BOOM the noise was back with such hits as "Something Else Medley", "Night Starvation"
"Get Down And Get With It", "Mama Weer All Crazee Now", "Cum On Feel The Noize"
and finishing with "Born To Be Wild"
Everyone had come to feel the noise...and feel the noise they certainly did.

Little did Slade know that they would be playing at Reading later this year.

...and stealing the show from the other acts.
...and be attracting full houses again at up and coming venues.

My sound rating for this is 8/10
