Although not the best quality this recording represents Slades only complete U.K. gig available from 1973, they were at the height a month before their legendary Earls Court concert.
It's interesting to hear Noddy plead with the crowd not to smash up the seats, and the crowd sounded like very young teenagers mainly female. Personally I think that the show had started to suffer and the band were trying hard to please their new young audience.
Included in this concert are 4 of their U.K. number 1's and this was recorded a week before their release of "Skweeze Me Pleeze Me" as always Nod encourages their audience to participate in the concert, urging them to sing along as loud as they can and enjoy themselves.
