Track Listing

Everyday
Something Else Medley
We'll Bring The House Down
Hot Love
Gudbuy T'Jane
Get Down And Get With It

Born To Be Wild
As a result of increased interest in the band following their Reading Festival triumph the year
before, Slade were big news again and had gained a whole new audience plus the older regulars to entertain.
Slade were invited to play their part in the concert in front of thousands and had them head banging right
from the off, like putty in their hands (just like the old days)
Slades opener was "Dizzy Mama" and went down a storm, as did "We'll Bring The House Down" and "When I'm Dancin' I Ain't Fightin'", "Gudbuy T'Jane" and "Get Down And Get With It" are played at a much faster speed the camera men are running all over the stage trying to keep up and capture the 4 in
action, and the HUGE crowd are going wild!, wild!, wild!
Small extensions of the stage were made for Jim and Dave to strut their stuff which was lapped up
by the audience,The interaction between Nod and Don is just perfect here and Dave is running around,
teasing the audience. The last song is "Born To Be Wild", the last of their encores with lots of toilet
roles on the stage floor, which had been thrown into the crowd, who then obligingly threw them back
just like at the football matches and the whole band sweating like pigs.
Slade were always at their best when playing live and they lived up to that expectation at Lochem
that day.
Dutch VARA Television recorded the whole gig, not all the video of the concert survived as only 3 of
Slades video clips are available (it's rumoured the whole Slade video gig is out there somewhere, but
you've more chance seeing faries at the bottom of your garden, than seeing the supposed whole concert)
But luckily the whole concert lives on in audio.
My sound rating for this is 9/10
Audio playing time approximately 51 minutes.
