Another night to earn a wage and to try entertain their fans, maybe Slade weren't packing out the isles like they used to, but they still gave their 100% as any Slade fan will tell you.
Slades Latest album was "The Amazing Kamikazee Syndrome" (reaching number 49 in the U.K. charts)
and their current single release was "My Oh My" (peaking at number 2 in the U.K. charts)
Opening with "Rock 'n' Roll Preacher (Hallelujah I'm On Fire)", "When I'm Dancin' I Ain't Fightin'", "Take Me Bak 'ome" certainly get the crowd going wild, the pace slows down for a few minutes
whilst they play their latest smash single, then its back to full poke with "A Night To Remember", "Lock Up Your Daughters"
"We'll Bring The House Down", then a few oldies but goodies "Gudbuy T'Jane"
"Get Down And Get With It", "Mama Weer All Crazee Now"
and finishing of the night with their great "Merry Xmas Everybody"
which gets released every year and must have helped out Mr Holder & Lea's pension.
Another night of satisfied fans old & new and another job done well by the band.
